At the SDG Tech Awards on the 22nd of October, hosted by Sustainary, CEO of Nerve Smart Systems, Jesper Boie Rasmussen, received the award for Best Start-up. Nerve Smart Systems is very happy to be acknowledged in such a strong category together with other finalists; Worthmore, Lulu Lab, EAT GRIM and WAIR.
Technology of all kinds must and can play an integral part in saving the world and integrating smart technology into society is Nerve Smart Systems’ main focus. Nerve Smart Systems won the award for Denmark’s best startup at the largest Nordic sustainability show, the SDG Tech Awards, for promoting sustainability as well as the UN’s sustainable development goals. The award was presented by Sustainary, a global platform for sustainability, in collaboration with Vækstfonden and Den Grønne Investeringsfond.
The jury, consisting of international and high-profile participants, chose Nerve Smart Systems as the winner. The jury was impressed by the way in which Nerve Smart Systems’ battery energy storage technology, Nerve Switch®, can help facilitate the integration of green energy in a CO2 neutral future.

The SDG Tech Awards were a part of the Green Impact Week, an initiative with 5 days full of talks, workshops, exhibitions, and other activities with a sustainable focus. The main partners behind the Green Impact Week were Sustainary, Creative Business Network, DISIE, Frej and MakeImpact. The jury consisted of over 50 participants from the Department for International Trade (DIT), Atea Danmark, Vækstfonden, DISIE and Danfoss as well as many others.
